If the consumers buy tainted goods, they must take the following actions:-

  1. Inform the seller immediately.
  2. Bring the receipts or proof purchase.
  3. Be calm and meet the manager/ shopowners.
  4. If the problem can’t be solve by the seller, make a formal complaint in writing.
  5. If the complaint receives no attention and more advice and assistance are needed then contact the Consumer Associations or the Enforcement Office.
